Any Major Favourites 2015 Vol. 1

Any Major Covers

In my younger days I was an enthusiastic mix-tape compiler. The lucky girls who were the objects of my affection would be blessed with my carefully compiled cassettes. I have no doubt whatsoever that they profoundly appreciated the education they were receiving, never mind if they liked Whitney Houston and I inducted them into the delights of Prefab Sprout or The Rock Lobsters. Funny enough, I ended up marrying none of them. Not that my future wife escaped my aggressive mix-taping, but by the time we were dating, I had the consideration to compile songs in her favoured genres.

As the regular reader will know, I still enjoy making mix-tapes. I love selecting the music, even as I hate omitting good songs to keep within my set length of one standard CD-R. I enjoy sequencing the songs; it’s perhaps the most creative part of the process. And I love playing the mixes, mostly in my car.

Here is a compilation of songs that featured on compilations that ran during the past year, with a second mix coming next week.

Please please PLEASE tell me you’re not switching over to Rapidgate. It is fraught with pop-ups and obstacles and is anything but “rapid” as its name implies it should be.

I have been having a LOT of issues attempting to download this!
    1. Tried about ten times since yesterday with nothing happening!
    2. Kept re-setting
    3. Eventually goy the link…….now keeps wanting “retry” and will not!
    Can not download.

I have to agree with the O.B.Dan comment too.

How strange. I’ve never had any trouble at all with Rapidgator. Didn’t get pop-ups and the download started well.

I agree that Rapidgate is way worse than the site you were using — I gave up trying to get it to downloqad without having to pay for the premium service.

I wondered why you’d switched from Zippy but Rapidgator works fine for me (I’m a premium user) so many thanks for the compilation of tracks from previous compilations – as incestuous as some of the stuff I put together for the car! Cheers!

OK, I’ve uploaded the file to Zippyshare.

Zippy can be an utter nightmare to upload to sometimes.

Thanks for the comp, picked it up with the new link. Hate Rapidgator.
BTW, are you using the zippyshare uploader? I use it and it’s pretty painless in my experience. Creates a log with filenames and links you can cut and paste from.
    It’s at:
